Team Virginia 12u wrapped up their 2026 baseball season with a strong showing at the Shipyard 12u World Series in Charleston, SC. The team finished second in their pool during pool play, posting a 1-1-1 record and falling only to the eventual tournament champions from Mississippi. For the week, they recorded an overall tournament record of 2-2-1.
We are proud to congratulate our GameDay USA MVPs: Jarrett (June) Ferguson Jr., who was recognized twice, along with Jerry Thompson, Wyatt Williams, and Ashby Bernard. Throughout the tournament, the team consistently demonstrated resilience and determination, always supporting one another when faced with challenges on the field.
This group of young athletes has shown exceptional character both on and off the field. As they prepare to advance to the “big field” in the coming weeks, we look forward to seeing what the future holds for them. We also want to extend our sincere appreciation to the parents, grandparents, siblings, and friends who supported our players all season. TVA 12u concluded their full 2026 season—including both fall and summer play—with an impressive overall record of 27-17-2.
