Team VA 14u scores 84 runs to go 5-0 and goes on to win the USSSA Battle of the Rings tournament in Christiansburg, VA. Head coach Aaron Yost said, “Overall, I am pretty happy with how we played. Offensively, we executed well and tallied 71 hits, of which 23 of those were for extra bases, and defensively we were adequate given the time of year. On the mound, we threw a lot of strikes but need to land our secondary stuff better. Most importantly, we were able to get seven players meaningful time on the mound. Overall, a solid weekend for our club.”
